Registration & Admission

The lower age limit for admission to class I is 5 years on 1st July of the year of joining the school. Similarly correlation of age and the class to which admission is sought is must. Students who are overage shall not be offered admission. Birth Certificate from the Municipal Board or a recognized institution only will be accepted to withdraw the name from school if at any stage it is found that the proof of age submitted is not correct. On receipt of the admission form and registration fees, the child’s name is registered fro admission. Registration is no guarantee for admission. Admission test is generally held is the month of March. There will be no admission in classes X & XII. Admission may be made in other classes on the availability of seats. Is therefore to be noted that no registration would be complete unless it is accompanied with the progress report of the precious class. No correspondence will be made with the parents who send incomplete application.

Admission to Class XI:

Few students may be admitted to class XI of the +2 stage of the Senior School Certificate Examination. Students desirous of getting admission to class XI should get their names registered and then send an attested copy of the marks list of class X Board/ Council Exam within a week of the declaration of the result. No test will be held for them but students will be admitted on merit, on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the class X Board/ Council Exam and subject to the vacancies available. It is to be noted that admission to class XI students who pass their 10th class examination from SaraswatiSchool will not be automatically admitted. It will strictly be on the basis of merit, their conduct and behavior in the school so far and the number of vacancies in different streams
